“In the name of God we will stop at nothing to preserve our way of life.” Ever stop and think that argument has been used by various cultures to justify their actions (not just this current one between Talaban and the USA) over the years? After 9/11 it seemed that every where I went in my little part of the good old USA, there were American flags and bumper stickers reading “God Bless America.” In the Middle East I am sure there were banners in many places with quotes such as “Kill those who join other gods” to justify their actions. I just have to wonder if “God” is laughing at human foolishness. IMHO as long as there are foolish people who don't see the big picture that we all live on one planet, there will be terrorism!
